NetSprint Information Access Platform

NetSprint Information Access Platform (NetSprint IAP) is an intelligent search solution, designed to increase revenues from contextual ads and paid content through facilitating access to information (including archives) for interested users as well as website navigation experience, increasing stickiness and improving the usability of the website, which would in turn result in higher number of unique users and more portal views.

IAP product range

Initially the search solution NetSprint IAP was addressed at big content publishers (for example news portals, newspapers or online magazines) who needed to use their content as efficiently as possible. The dynamic character of the Internet market and great interest in NetSprint IAP have inspired us to design additional IAP features matching the business demands of other key sectors. Due to this we have created the following solutions:

• NetSprint IAP eCommerce for the e-commerce sector (the package provides special options for product promotion),
• NetSprint IAP eTravel for tourism (this package has been designed to handle large amounts of dynamically changing data and to provide up-to-date results in a minimum amount of time),
• NetSprint IAP Intranet for companies and institutions (the package has been designed to deal with issues of security and data access restriction levels and to give users access to widely dispersed documents in one browser window).

NetSprint IAP Modules

Each NetSprint IAP product utilizes the advanced NetSprint search engine (Search Engine). Depending on Clients’ needs there may be an extra module for presenting contextually related documents (Related Content), module for automatic development of Topic Pages and a set of Seach Support Tools comprising of: correction suggestions for invalid queries (Misspelling),  suggested lists of possible queries  (AutoComplete), providing quick results immediately after typing individual letters of the query (QuickSearch), filtering search results by browsing the result category tree (Category Tree). There is also an additional element - Crawler. It is a mechanism which adds content from free external services (like blogs or discussion forums) to the search.
